西方客户对陶交会和广交会的反馈
For the last couple of weeks we have had many visitors from overseas that came specifically to theses Fairs. People from USA, Mexico, Korea, Thailand and India visited our showrooms or we saw them at the China Ceramic City.
上几周,很多海外客户来参观这两个展会。到访我们展厅的有来自美国、墨西哥、韩国、泰国以及印度等国家的客户,另外我们在中国陶瓷城也遇到一些。
I am going to summarize their feedback instead of giving mine regarding what they saw, their comments about these fairs, products and anything else important that they mentioned.
我想总结一下他们的反馈而不是阐述我的观点,总结他们看到的,对于展会的意见,产品以及他们提到的一些重要事情。
Some of them also went ITALY to CERSAIE so these guys are definitely good as reference and their comments very valuable.
其中有些客户也去了意大利博洛尼亚展会,所以他们的意见绝对有参考价值。
1. The Canton Fair in relation to the ceramic fair seemed busy but there was nothing really special that would be worth mentioning. It was more business as usual.
广交会中的陶瓷展貌似相当热闹,但是真的没有什么值得一提,一切如常就是一个交易会。
2. Some companies seemed to react or try to show what they saw in Italy or what they saw or learned at the International Trends Presentation at CCIH and presented hexagons as an example but they looked like they were done last minute and did not look very good. Everything that they saw was cut with water-jet machines and not with a lot of good planning.
一些公司似乎针对意大利展会上的见闻以及他们在中国陶瓷总部举行的“国际瓷砖趋势发布会”上学到的内容有所行动。例如他们尝试展示六边型的新产品。可以它们似乎是最后一分钟才完成的,看起来不是很好,水刀切割而且缺乏计划。
3. The Fair at China Ceramic City is the preferred by foreign visitors and the most visited. It seemed slow or slower than April’s Fair.
外国客户首选到访中国陶瓷城,这里客户是最多的。但是似乎人气比春交会淡一些。
4. There were A LOT of digital deco presented in many styles but many were copies, with mixed designs that did not match well or with wrong color proposals. Not very appealing for foreign markets. There were just a few that were right on the spot on regards to design and color taste.
大量的各种风格的数码喷墨花片展示,但是大多数设计存在抄袭,并且在花式混搭和颜色搭配上都不那么协调,对外国客户并不是太吸引。只有少数产品在设计和颜色审美上运用得正确。
5. Cement seemed like one of the top product styles that was seen in many booths of the different brands. There were many good and interesting designs. Mostly seen in 60x60 size. But many of the companies made mistakes on regards to the texture or feeling of the tile when you touch it. Many of them mentioned that the texture was either to rough or way too smooth. Nevertheless there were many well done manufactured products in this style.
水泥风是其中最流行的风格之一,在众多展位以及不同品牌都能看见。有很多有趣的好设计,大部分是60x60cm的。但是,很多公司在触摸质感上都犯了错误。很多客人在反映它们不是太粗糙就是太滑。但总的来说,这一风格还是有很多在做得非常好的企业。
6. They saw a couple of companies that presented the hexagon pressed and even digitally decorated (Great!) but the pricing of these items was very high. I guess some of the interested manufacturers in producing this fashion shape will work on getting the pricing down to a more competitive and attractive number to be able to sell it well.
他们还看到有小部分公司的压制六边形产品做得非常好,有些还是数码喷墨的花片。但是价钱都非常高昂。我猜一些感兴趣的制造商为了更好的销售会将价格降低到一个更有竞争力和吸引力的数字。
7. Nobody saw any new real metallic looks, there were a couple of companies that showed products that looked a little bit like metal and were well done and designed.
没有人看到一些新的真正的金属类产品。有一小部分公司展示的产品看起来有一点像金属,它们在设计上非常棒!
8. The slim tiles that were seen were mostly in the 60x120 size. Their digital decoration keeps getting better and better, polished and satin finishes were presented. I guess that still the big challenge here is the handling, logistics, installation and transportation when you manufacture a bigger size like 1.2 x 2.4.
薄板大部分是60x120cm的规格。数码喷墨做得越来越出色,全抛和柔光亚面。我想这类产品最大的挑战仍然是维护、物流和安装,特别当你生产1.2x2.4m规格的时候。
9. Many marbles and some granite looks were presented but really nothing that was worth mentioning here. It was mostly products way to similar to existing ones. Not much innovation here!
很多仿石材和大理石产品展出,但是实在没有什么值得一提。大部分都很相似,没有什么创新!
Overall the bottom line is that the Chinese Industry keeps making progress, improving their designs, acting faster in regards to trends but unfortunately keep making some of the historical same silly mistakes by not paying attention to details when the products are manufactured and presented.
总的来说,中国的陶瓷行业在不断进步,设计在提升,与趋势接轨更快。然而遗憾的是,一些基本错误还在出现,例如在生产和展示产品时,没有很好地注重细节。
When the designs are good, the texture or structure is bad, when the texture is good and the design is good as well the size presented is incorrect. And sometimes when everything is right the way it is presented is wrong or the way it is applied on the space is wrong.
好的设计,质面处理却不对;好的设计和质面,尺寸却不对;当所有都是好的时候,展示方式或应用空间却不对。
And there are always some that do it all right!
当然,也有是做得全对的!
Another thing they mentioned and it was something I did not see was they saw some new brands and showrooms, and new grand openings. I am not sure about this! I only went to one of the “NEW” showrooms in Foshan and it looked GREAT. It is very refreshing and always interesting to see something good, well done, different and innovative.
另外,他们提及了一些我没有全部看到的,例如一些新的品牌和展厅,以及隆重的开业活动。这些我不是很肯定,在佛山我只去了其中一个“新”展厅,确实看起来非常棒,新颖、有趣、与别不同和创新。
